Wooohoooo!!!

We finally finished up cheering, praise the Lord. Last Saturday we had our awards thing. It was quite chilly that day, but I was ever so happy that it was over. After all the late nights, getting drenched in Goshen, and a little damp the next weekend. I'm so glad it is over. Have you ever been to Goshen, well you can't get there from here. It's one of those there's no good way to get there and you would never come across it w/o signs, that I think God put there LOL!!! They were cardboard written. Anywho we have been busy with that and today was Aiden's party at daycare. I was bad, and just threw on a football jersy that was my stepsons when they were smaller. I just don't get into this halloween stuff. Well I guess that's all for now. I will end with some pictures.

I got this e-mail and I thought it was a neat way to think about things. Figured I would share it with you.

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake."

"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers.
"Yuck" says her daughter.
"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"
"Mom, those are all yucky!"

To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! "

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

If you like this, send this on to the people you really care about.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Been a While

I've been neglecting my blog trying to get my facebook up, so I'll update real quick. It's that time again, yes good old football/cheerleading. So Roll Tide and Go Eagles. We've not been up to, to much lately. Just swimming a little, keeping up with the kiddos, and practice/games. For some reason, there is just never enough time in the day. I run from dark to dark. Bailey's been sick with her ears alot this summer, and last week she had laryingitis. Aiden's been running fever off and on the last few days, well he runs fever late afternoon/night and is fine during the day. Thankfully last night he did not. It has driven me crazy. A lady at daycare said her daughter did the same thing and that she took her to the dr. and he said it was something viral and he could do nothing. So I did not want to waste the money to hear that so I said I would just see what went with it. Well I will go and end w/ a few pics.

PRAYER NEEDED!!!!

I want to ask that you please pray for Greg & Meredith Ramer (Ramer Bunch on my blog) and their family and especially for little Brayden. They have twins and she is pregnant with their 3rd. Their twins fell in their grandparents pool and they have lost Kenadi (the girl) and Brayden was flown to B'ham. He is in very critical condition. My heart is hurting for them so bad. I pray that God touches little Brayden and pulls him through. I pray that the Ramer/Mikel/Mack family feels God in their presence and can lean on him to get them through this tragedy. I pray for the whole family. The twins were about Aiden's age, and I just can't imagine what I would feel. We just take so many things in this life forgranted. Our babies are God's and they are here only on loan from him. We need to cherish every moment we have with them.

Please Please be much in prayer for a miracle from God for this Family, God Bless You All.

SOFTBALL PARTY & RELAXATION

As we had our next to last game on the 29th of May, we had our party (YEA). We had 11 or 12 games and won them all but 2 or 3. I was so excited for them and my little Bailey is becomeing a good ball player. She hit a few homeruns and played pitcher and second. We get to play one more year of coach pitch, and then it is off to fast pitch (which she's not crazy about). However, as for next year there may not even be county teams. Here are a few pictures of the party. Congrats Eagles.

Saturday we spent the day with my in-laws at their pool, which was absolutely fabulous (I got to get on a float and REST for a little while YEA!!!). My kids loved it. Aiden would get tired and go inside w/ daddy, but he even loved being in the pool. He actually does wonderfully in the pool with his floaties. He goes whereever he wants to, and is not scared at all. I could've put floaties on Bailey at that age and she would have freaked. He would go to the deep end climb the ladder and say "I go around" and go to the steps and get back in the pool. The older three of course are like ducks, and do well unless they argue about something. We had a great time and even got to go back for a little while Sunday after church.

Well that's all for now, have a great week.

WEEKEND FUN!!!!!

I decided to post some fun outside pictures since it has been so yucky out lately. These are obviously not from this past weekend. I believe these were from Mother's Day weekend I think.

To bad my first day off since the first of the year was not spent at the place in the first picture (my mother-in-law) on a float relaxing the day away. As I post this it begins to storm once again. I think we should get a break by Friday and for the weekend, which make me very excited. Happy Wednesday and have a great weekend.

CLOSER TO DOUBLE DIGITS

Ben turned 9 on Monday. One more year and we will be into the double digits. It is so unreal to me, because Bailey is just one step behind him. I'm not old enough to have kids that old LOL:). Happy Birthday Ben, have a great 9th year and we Love You!!!

EGGS, EGGS, AND MORE EGGS!!!!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend honoring the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour. We had a wonderful Easter week/weekend, other than Aiden testing positive for Strep Throat on Tuesday. We of course got antibotics and had a wonderful day together at home on Tuesday. Wednesday he still did not feel 100%, but I didn't want him to miss his Easter party at daycare. Mrs. Jamie change the party to the afternoon since it had been so cool, and went well til mommy had to go back to work.

The Eagles had their first ball game Friday night, and they won!!! Bailey is not catcher this year so she is exstatic. We only have 1 more game on the schedule since the city will not play us this year. Maybe we can get up a few more games. GO EAGLES GO!!!

Saturday morning I guess I was gluting for punishment, because I by myself with 4 kids dyed and painted eggs. I was ever so glad to finish and send them outside. Whew!!!!!

Saturday afternoon we went over to Heather (Lynch) Cravey's house for an Easter Party that her and Patience Kimbril had for their friends and family. Patience had invited me one day while I was in the bank which was so sweet of her. We had a great time and it was great to see Heather and her 2 precious little ones and some other old friends. Then Sunday afternoon we spent the afternoon in some of my husbands family's pasture cooking and hunting yet more eggs. I combined these picture in one slide show.

I will go, I'm sure this is waaaaay long enough. Have a great week!!!!

IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE.....

If any of you ladies know of someone that can use the dress in these pictures, please let me know. I'm going to try to sell it for $50.00. Bailey has worn it in 2 weddings and a couple of times to church (and yes I said to church)LOL. It has the pastel green ribbion that it originally came with, but for my brothers wedding we took a red sash and used it since their colors were obviously not green. I was going to put her in some beauty pageants with the dress, but never did. Now it is to little. It is a size 5, and it is a beautful gown. I think we paid about $150 for it. I am ready to get rid of it, although my daughter will probably have a major fit (she is my little pack rat that would keep every stich of anything she has and I am SOOOO NOT that way), so I figured I would see if you ladies wanted it or new of someone who wanted it. I don't want to just give it to Good Will or anything such as that, so if you know someone just let me know (heatherbarton_1979@yahoo.com) or you can call me at work. Here are a few pictures of the dress.

It has some sequiens and beading on the bottom!!!!!

Thanks and Happy Wednesday YEAH!!!!!!

30, Potty Training, & Softball

It's been a while since I last posted. Since my last post, I turned 30 (kind of unreal). That is just so wild to me, I mean I just turned 21 yesterday. LOL!! Life goes by soooooooooo quickly. I think with every year I get older the faster life goes by me. My husband, Aiden, and I went to Pensacola and shopped and ate at Logan's Roadhouse (YUMMY) for my birthday.
I said I was not going to push the potty training issue, because after Bailey I seen that she was not going to do it until she was ready, no reason to fret about it. With Bailey I pushed and finally gave up, she turned 3 and one night she said she wanted to wear big girl panties to bed. Since then we have been potty trained. Well Aiden started back in January taking his diaper off and saying he needed to "BEE-BEE in the Potty". Well I would try to put him on the potty and he was not having anything to do with the BIG potty. So, I bought him a training potty, the night I got it out he took it in the living room and sat on it to watch T.V. I said well this is going to be success. I got my camera to take a picture of it and he saw me, he looked up at me and said CHEESE. My husband and I got the biggest laugh out of him. Since then he has (mainly this weekend) done both in the potty which made mommy EXCITED. So maybe just maybe we are on the road to success. I surely hope so. That would save some $$$.
Lastly, Bailey started softball practice Thursday. I guess we will be busy till the end of May or so. I'm really excited this year, I actually know most of the kids and moms on Bailey's team. Our coaches are Micah & Kelley Garner and Keith and Amanda Gunter. Mrs. Kelley was with us last year and she is so wonderful to help me out with Bailey. We thank Mrs. Kelley bunches.
Well that's about all for now. If I can ever remember to bring my camera, I will post some pictures (especially the potty chair picture).

My Princess.....

is 8 today!!!! Happy Birthday to my BIG baby girl. Where did my baby go? It's soooo hard to believe she is already 8, in the second grade, and she & I already have our clashing moments. I don't remember clashing with my mom this early nor having a fit over my clothes as early as she did which was like 4 I think. OH MY MY MY she'll be 18 before I know it. It's so funny some of the things she says to me, she sounds like a grownup. About 1 1/2 years ago, she was wanting me to play with her or something and I told her I had to get supper, her lunch, kids bathed, you know all those mommy things. Well this was her resonse "it's real fun being married huh momma, I tried to tell you not to get married!!!". I of course laughed and said yes Bailey it's loads of fun, and I wished I would of listened. She of course has not told me not to get married. So with that said Happy Birthday and I look forward to many more great moments spent with you Bailey. I Love You!!!
