KIDS IN CHURCH
3-year-old Reese : 'Our Father, Who does art in heaven, Harold is His name. Amen.'
A little boy was overheard praying: 'Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am.'
After the christening of his baby brother in church, Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car. His father asked him three times what was wrong. Finally, the boy replied, 'That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home, and I wanted to stay with you guys.'
One particular four-year-old prayed, 'And forgive us our trash baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets.'
A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they were on the way to church service, 'And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?' One bright little girl replied, 'Because people are sleeping.'
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3. The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson. 'If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, 'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.' Kevin turned to his younger brother and said, ' Ryan , you be Jesus !'
A father was at the beach with his children when the four-year-old son ran up to him, grabbed his hand, and led him to the shore where a seagull lay dead in the sand. 'Daddy, what happened to him?' the son asked. 'He died and went to Heaven,' the Dad replied. The boy thought a moment and then said, 'Did God throw him back down?'
A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said, 'Would you like to say the blessing?' 'I wouldn't know what to say,' the girl replied... 'Just say what you hear Mommy say,' the wife answered. The daughter bowed her head and said, 'Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?'
I thought you all might enjoy this since most of you have babies. Happy New Year!!!!

WHEW!!!!
Well, it flew by once again. Time really does fly by the older you get, and I think it gets faster with every minute of my life. We had a wonderfully fun and busy Christmas. It was great to see most of the family, and the kids got so many great and wonderful toys to leave in the floor to drive momma crazy. I will post some pictures one day soon. Santa brought Aiden a battary powered ride and he would rather push it with his feet. He's a silly little boy. We have everything from an Easy Bake Oven, Nerf Guns, Remote Control Helicopters (which my husband loves as much as the kids, and Aiden gets sooooo excited when they fly them), Bratz dolls, bb guns, and the list goes on. We went to my husbands grandparents Christmas Eve, parent-in-laws Christmas day, and seen my dad, brother, and Heather (sister-in-law) that afternoon. I love Christmas, but I am glad that it is over for what will seem to me a month or two :). I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and have a wonderful New Year.

The Going Ons of Foley World
Well it's been a while since I posted something, so here we go!! First off there was Thanksgiving, we started the Sunday before with my in-laws for lunch. Then we were off to my husband's grandparents for Thursday dinner. Saturday we ate with my dad, brother, & sister-in-law for lunch. I always look forward to my dad's. I don't really like turkey, but he injects his and does a rub, and fries it. UUMMMMMMMMMM!!!! I LOVE IT!! Then of course we were off to watch Alabama BEAT Auburn (YEAH)!!! Here's a picture of my little indian.

Lastly Aiden's Christmas party was today, very interesting. It was for the younger kids today. I would say the oldest for the party today was 2. Well when Santa walked into that room of babies probably 75% of them went to crying. Santa came in and they went to calling out names for the kids to come get their present and candy, and can you imagine what happened. There was probably 6 kids out of 25 that sat w/ him, and some of those not willingly (meaning they pitched a fit). You might know that mine was not one of those six LOL!!!!
So now that I am all caught up I think, I will end with this since I will probably not blog before. I hope you all have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! My how time flies, I'll be 30 before you know it (March 1), it doesn't seem real!!! Lastly, remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON.
Heather :)

Jared, Heather, Aiden, and myself went to the Christmas Parade a few weeks ago. Aiden enjoyed himself. He was quite amazed at the loud sirens and marching bands, and he loved the big trucks, tractors, and horses. It was a little chilly to say the least.

Here is Aiden looking at his first dead deer his daddy killed Saturday. He was very unsure of this thing hanging there.

Invisible
This was e-mailed to me and I thought you all would enjoy it, and probably relate to it. I know it hit me hard. That's me in a nutshell.
I'm invisible. The invisible Mom. Some days I am only a pair of hands, nothing more: Can you fix this? Can you tie this? Can you open this?
One night, a group of us were having dinner, celebrating the return of a friend from England .
Janice had just gotten back from a fabulous trip, and she was going on and on about the hotel she stayed in.
I was sitting there, looking around at the others all put together so well. It was hard not to compare and feel sorry for myself.
I was feeling pretty pathetic, when Janice turned to me with a beautifully wrapped package, and said, 'I brought you this.'
It was a book on the great cathedrals of Europe .
I wasn't exactly sure why she'd given it to me until I read her inscription:
'To Charlotte , with admiration for the greatness of what you are building when no one sees.'
In the days ahead I would read - no, devour - the book. And I would discover what would become for me, four life-changing truths, after which I could pattern my work:
No one can say who built the great cathedrals - we have no record of their names.
These builders gave their whole lives for a work they would never see finished.
They made great sacrifices and expected no credit.
The passion of their building was fueled by their faith that the eyes of God saw everything. A legendary story in the book told of a rich man who came to visit the cathedral while it was being built, and he saw a workman carving a tiny bird on the inside of a beam. He was puzzled and asked the man, 'Why are you spending so much time carving that bird into a beam that will be covered by the roof? No one will ever see it.' And the workman replied, 'Because God sees.' I closed the book, feeling the missing piece fall into place.
It was almost as if I heard God whispering to me, 'I see you, Charlotte. I see the sacrifices you make every day, even when no one around you does. No act of kindness you've done, no sequin you've sewn on, no cupcake you've baked, is too small for me to notice and smile over. You are building a great cathedral, but you can't see right now what it will become.' At times, my invisibility feels like an affliction. But it is not a disease that is erasing my life.
It is the cure for the disease of my own self-centeredness. It is the antidote to my strong, stubborn pride. I keep the right perspective when I see myself as a great builder. As one of the people who show up at a job that they will never see finished, to work on something that their name will never be on.
The writer of the book went so far as to say that no cathedrals could ever be built in our lifetime because there are so few people willing to sacrifice to that degree. When I really think about it, I don't want my son to tell the friend he's bringing home from college for Thanksgiving, 'My Mom gets up at 4 in the morning and bakes homemade pies, and then she hand bastes a turkey for three hours and presses all the linens for the table.' That would mean I'd built a shrine or a monument to myself. I just want him to want to come home. And then, if there is anything more to say to his friend, to add, 'you're gonna love it there.' As mothers, we are building great cathedrals. We cannot be seen if we're doing it right.
And one day, it is very possible that the world will marvel, not only at what we have built, but at the beauty that has been added to the world by the sacrifices of invisible women.
Great Job, MOM!
Hope this encourages you when the going gets tough as it sometimes does.
We never know what our finished products will turn out to be because of our perseverance.
Well I hope you enjoyed, and it helped you feel better about the life as a mother as it did me. It's all so true we don't know what our little products will turn out to be, but we have the freedom to raise them right in the house of God. Have a fabulous day and if I don't blog before have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

To Much Fun!!!
Can you ever have to much fun? Kids may not ever get enough of it, but I on the other hand do. We had a somewhat on the go busy weekend. The boys have been playing football, and being as they live in Enterprise and we live in Wing we have not made any. They play during the week instead of on Saturdays. Well, just so happened they both had a game Saturday (10:00 & 2:00) . So we got up and took off to Enterprise to watch the games. After Cam's game we ate and went to the park to waste time. Aiden & I wound up in the van at half time of Ben's game, he had apparently had enough. Then we went to a friends house in Opp and watched the last half of that awesome yet make you want to scream Alabama game. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!! Here are a few pictures from our FUN!!!

Halloween Party
Aiden's daycare halloween party was today at 2:00 and I was there for a short while. I know I'm a bad mother but we are not going trick or treating. Bailey wanted to go with her stepmother & other baby brother (uuuugggggghhhhh!!!) rather than with me & Aiden. SOOOOOO, I guess I am the baahumbug of Halloween. Anyway here are a few pics from the party.

Life Never Stops
This blog is dedicated to Heather Cravey. She scolded me and told me I should have this figured out by now to get to posting some pics. LOL!!! Sorry but I'm far from being a writer. For my picture taking I stay so stinkin' buzy I don't think about the camera. Then you add one kid running in one direction and one in the other and then if I add two more WOW I don't think about much of anything but pulling my hair out. That would be fine to because I got some gray ones sprouting HA!!! that I'm fixing to have to color or something I think!!!
Kids are such a blessing from God and I Love my two more than life. They keep me buzy and sometimes they drive me nuts. I was doing something (cleaning, tv, or washing) and I went in my kitchen and this is what I found.

For some reason he loves to climb on the stinkin' table. He was lookin' cool in his daddy's hat and glasses. It was sooo funny because he done it his self. Here is a pic of him eating ice cream sandwich and him and his big sister hiding (you'll never in a million years guess where). Also a picture of him and one of his big brothers.

Could you of ever guessed!!! Big Sister=Bad Influence LOL!!!

Wonder what was being discussed HAHA!!

Lastly, since August I have been what started out as Co-Sponser turning into Sponser the last 3 weeks of the 7 & 8 year old Tinymite Cheerleaders. For those that know me knows I was never a cheerleader in school so it's been interesting. I will never again help out w/ this. Who knew there was so stinkin' much drama in Pee-Wee Football/Cheerleading. There may not be everywhere, but Pleasant Home more than there share. It's ridiculous that grown men and women can't get together and let there kids do this w/o all the whineing, fussing, and just ridiculousness (I don't know if that's a word if no I just made up a new one LOL) and just let them have fun. I mean they're not gonna get a scholorship tomorrow. I however have had a wonderful set of moms that just go w/ the flow and are just great. Well here are some pics of my last month of Saturdays!!!
Our first game (Jamboree) It was @ 2:30 and it was about 190 degrees

WELL I GUESS I WILL GIVE THIS A WHIRL!!!
I guess I will just start from the beginning or since graduation. I graduated from Pleasant Home School in 1998 and LBW (McArthur Campus) in 2000 w/ a degree in Office Adminstration. I married Julius Spivey 12/04/1999 and we had a pretty baby girl 02/02/2001 (Bailey Morgan). I worked for Woodard, Patel, & Sledge from 08/2000 to 03/2003, I left there for my wonderful job here at Carolina Millwork & Truss. I have been here for six years in March. In January of 2004 my marriage ended, and I was off to another adventure.
I met a great guy (Keith Foley) here at work July of that year and we dated and married 01/27/06. We had a beautiful baby boy 01/25/07 (Aiden Jace). Keith has two boys from his first marriage (Ben & Cam) so yes when we get them all together it's a full house. Bailey is 7, Aiden is 1, Ben is 8, & Cam is 6. We currently live in Wing where I thought I wanted to be but w/ gas and everything I'm ready to get back closer to Andy or Opp. (My husband is from Opp) I didn't think I would ever say I wanted to live in Opp, but we lived in Oakey Ridge for a while and I like it. We are actually members at Southside Baptist Church in Opp and I just love the worship and fellow church members. They are all sooooo sweet. Well I guess that sums up the goings on in my life for the last 10 years.
Sorry for the book!!
